REGIONAL, October 13, 2025: A 14-member media delegation from Meghalaya and Tripura is embarking on a press tour to Karnataka to gain first-hand exposure to key Central Government establishments, flagship development projects and the state's rich cultural heritage.
The initiative, organised by the Press Information Bureau (PIB) Shillong in coordination with PIB Bengaluru aims to enable journalists from the region to engage directly with national institutions and highlight their stories for readers and audiences back home.
The delegation includes eleven journalists from Meghalaya and two from South Tripura, representing a mix of print, electronic and digital media. The tour includes visits to major scientific and industrial institutions, immersive cultural and heritage experiences, sectorial engagements and interactions with communities.
