Jishnu Debbarman opens first Innovation Hub of Tripura

AGARTALA, October 09 2021: Tripura Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Debbarman Saturday inaugurated state’s first Innovation Hub at Sukanta Academy in Agartala. The Hub shall provide a platform for the young students to engage them in innovative and creative activities.

Debbarman opened the Hub at a function graced by officials of Science and Technology department and the linked council. Indranil Sanyal, Director of Northeast Zone of the National Council of Science Museums, also graced the occasion.

Officials said the interested students have to get them enrolled to take advantage of the centre. They stated that the primary idea is to prop up creative thinking and problem solving ability through hands on creative work and experiences.

The Innovation Hub comes with three different sections - Innovation Resource Centre, Idea Laboratory and Innovation Kiosks.
