Indian army felicitates bravehearts women of Tripura

AGARTALA, July 20, 2024: Spear Corps felicitated 12 brave-hearts women and mother, called as Veer Nari and Veer Mata of Tripura at Agartala Military Station Saturday, an Indian Army press note stated.
The event was organised with the motto “Sharing and Caring”. The primary endeavour was to reach out to Veer Naris hailing from different parts of Tripura State and address their grievances.
A total of 10 Veer Naris and 2 Veer Matas attended the event.
The programme commenced with a heart-warming welcome, followed by interaction with Veer Naris by Ladies of Agartala Military Station. During the interaction, the grievances were addressed and a promise of unwavering support and solidarity was made.
The programme culminated with the felicitation ceremony honouring the strength, courage and resilience of Veer Naris of Tripura.
Medical check-up was also conducted for these brave heart women by Medical team from the Army and offered medical assistance to those in need.
The press note added that the Indian Army continues in its endeavour to remember and honour the sacrifices of our Veer Naris and their families. The event was a poignant reminder of the sacrifice and selfless service that define our nation.
