ICFAI University hosts "TARANG UTSAV," from January 27 to 31

AGARTALA, January 29, 2025: The ICFAI University hosted the "TARANG UTSAV," the 38th AIU Inter University North East Zone Youth Festival from January 27 to 31 in collaboration with the Association of Indian Universities. The festival began on the morning of January 27 with a Managers meet and a cultural procession led by the Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, Tripura Government, who was the Chief Guest along with other notable dignitaries.
Prof (Dr) Biplab Halder, the Vice Chancellor, welcomed the participants and thanked the Association for allowing the university to host this event.
The inaugural session took place at 4 pm with distinguished guests, including the Chief Guest Governor Nallu Indrasena Reddy and other dignitaries from AIU. The festival saw participation from over 802 students from 22 universities, competing in 28 events such as Music, Dance, Drama, Fine Arts and Literary activities.
This festival served as a platform to showcase immense talent and unity, concluding with a vote of thanks from Dr A Ranganath, the Registrar.
