Hmarveng reserve volunteer force flagged off

AIZAWL, August 03 2020: 20 volunteers from Hmarveng YMA branch were flagged off Monday from Kolasib DC Office by Lallawmawma, Additional DC, Kolasib, to continue their duty at border areas to ward off illegal entries in the state, as a measure to fight against Covid-19.
Reserve Volunteer Force are volunteers formed under Border Safety Monitoring Team, Kolasib district and Sub-headquarters YMA, Kolasib to assist police personnel at the border duty post and check the illegal entries of people who are not entering the state through the designated Covid-19 screening gates at the borders.
Reserve Volunteer force begins their duties since May 14 and today was the 25th team to be deployed, who will be stationed at Phaisen till August 10.
