Organised by 'Fitistan - Ek Fit Bharat' the Soldierathon paid tribute

AIZAWL, June 29, 2025: Mizoram Governor General (Retd) Dr VK Singh this morning graced the flag-off ceremony of Panchshil Bombay Sappers Soldierathon 2025 - a tribute to the courage of our armed forces and the spirit of a fit India, at the iconic Parade Ground, BEG Centre, Pune, as the Chief Guest and flagged off over 4,500 participants.
Organised by 'Fitistan - Ek Fit Bharat,' the Soldierathon paid tribute to the courage of India's armed forces while promoting a fit and united nation. The event supported the Paraplegic Rehabilitation Center in Kirkee, Pune, which focuses on the treatment, recovery and rehabilitation of injured soldiers.
The Soldierathon aimed to honour martyrs and wounded warriors, raise awareness among the youth about the sacrifices of India’s bravehearts and foster national pride. It highlighted the relentless dedication of soldiers who safeguard the nation’s security, integrity, unity and sovereignty round the clock.
More than a marathon, the event was a powerful movement, a salute to sacrifice and a step toward a stronger, healthier and united India. The event witnessed over 4,500 participants of all ages, from 7 months to 82 years, join in 10 KM, 5 KM and 3 KM races.
