KVSU held its General Conference and Sachü Scholarship Award

REGIONAL, January 08, 2025: The Kohima Village Students' Union held its General Conference and Sachü Scholarship Award under the theme "Future Forward: Enroute to 100" Wednesday. Director, Information & Public Relations, Dzüvinuo Theünuo praised the KVSU for developing a 15-year vision plan for its 100th anniversary, stating that today's students will be responsible for the union's activities and initiatives.
She emphasized that the union belongs to everyone, past, present, and future and that human resource development is paramount.
Theünuo emphasized that realistic knowledge and its fulfillment not only enhance individual quality but also contribute to society, social change, and overall health and well-being. She stressed the importance of enhancing the economy, climate change, and maintaining sustainable land despite societal challenges. She urged the KVSU to uphold its motto "March for the better" and reminded them of the maxim "Well done is better than well said."
Furthermore, former KVSU President Keneingu Rutsa discussed the role of a leader, stating that a leader should have a clear vision, delegate tasks, and adapt to changing times. He also urged students to be good followers and to be a good follower of the KVSU's motto.
In conclusion, the Kohima Village Students' Union held a General Conference and Sachü Scholarship Award, focusing on the importance of human resource development, leadership, and the importance of a strong and supportive community.
