NATIONAL, December 04, 2024: EPAM Systems, Inc. (NYSE: EPAM), a leading digital transformation services and product engineering company, Wednesday announced the opening of a new office in Baner, Pune, expanding its footprint in the city with state-of-the-art facility. This is EPAM’s third office expansion after Bengaluru and Chennai earlier this year. As EPAM’s second-largest delivery centre globally, India plays a crucial role in the organization’s growth strategy with a strong focus on nurturing a diverse talent pool. With this new office, the company intends to leverage Pune's rich educational heritage and its extensive pool of skilled professionals.
EPAM’s goal is to build the ‘Home of Modern Engineer’ and the new office space will help realize this mission by enabling enhanced collaboration and innovation. This cutting-edge facility in Baner, Pune, will function as a dynamic hub for events, meetups, and showcases, while also serving as Offshore Development Centers (ODCs) for EPAM's clients.
Srinivas Reddy, Managing Director at EPAM India, stated, “At EPAM, we strive to create work environments that foster collaboration, learning, and problem-solving and our new office in Pune represents a significant step in fulfilling this commitment. With the growing customer demand in India, this thoughtfully designed facility will enable teamwork and will serve as a catalyst for transforming numerous ideas into reality.”
The new office space will exemplify EPAM’s commitment to mitigate environmental impact with its LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Platinum Certification, mainly due to the underfloor air conditioning system that takes advantage of the space under the raised floor to distribute air efficiently and leads to reduced power consumption. The office space also has recycled furniture, ergonomic interiors and energy-efficient electronic appliances.
EPAM is a trusted partner for many Forbes Global 2000 organizations looking to enhance their global competitiveness in digital engineering. EPAM's impressive growth in India — from 1,000 to nearly 9,600 employees — underscores its talent acquisition and integration capabilities. The rapidly growing team supports EPAM's operations and delivery to its customer base, which comprises leading GCCs.
