Completion: ₹1 lakh first prize to design Aadhaar’s Mascot

Mascot to serve as UIDAI’s visual ambassador, embodying spirit

NATIONAL, October 17, 2025: The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) is holding a nationwide Mascot Design Contest on the MyGov platform inviting residents to create an official mascot that reflects Aadhaar's core values of trust, inclusivity, empowerment and digital innovation.

The mascot will serve as a visual ambassador for UIDAI making its communication more relatable and engaging across all age groups. The contest is open till October 31 to all Indian citizens and submissions will be evaluated on creativity, originality, aesthetic appeal and alignment with UIDAI's values.

The winners will receive prizes of ₹ 50,000 for the first prize, ₹ 30,000 for the second and ₹ 20,000 for third prizes, and certificates of recognition.
