CM outlines govt’s priority to work for all communities

AGARTALA, November 08, 2024: Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha has outlined the state government's priority to work for the overall development of people from all communities. He said it is important to have equality and development for all people to honour Dr BR Ambedkar's advocacy for social justice.  

The Chief Minister graced an occasion to award achievers from the OBC Community with the Dr BR Ambedkar Smriti Medha Samman (Gold Medal) here Friday. 

Saha in his speech praised the efforts of central government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Tripura government in implementing beneficiary schemes, highlighting the importance of ensuring no section of the population is left behind. He stressed the need for progress and equality stating that the government is for all and is actively working towards this goal. 

He spoke about the government's commitment to improving various sectors and said committed the need to provide safety and security for citizens, generate employment and financially support people in need.
