BSF catches nine Bangladeshis at three different places
The force increased efforts to stop infiltrators, secure border

AGARTALA, October 13, 2024: BSF caught four Bangladeshi nationals, including a female trying to cross the border fence at Shyampara in Sabroom, South Tripura. They confessed to being from Chattogram district in Bangladesh.
Elsewhere, one Bangladeshi national was detained in Sonamura with both Bangladeshi and Indian currency. Two more Bangladeshis were captured in Dharmanagar and Sabroom with Indian currency.
Two persons from Bangladesh were also stopped at the Agartala railway station.
The BSF is conducting further investigations. The BSF has increased efforts to stop infiltration and bolster anti-infiltration measures to protect Indian borders from unauthorised entry.
