GUWAHATI, May 23 2023: Chief Ministers of Assam and Meghalaya will meet second time in a year to find a solution to the boundary rows. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and his Meghalaya counterpart Conrad K Sangma will initiate meeting Wednesday at the State Guest House (Koinadora) at Khanapara in Guwahati at 11 am.
Six places on the inter-state boundary have been marked as disputed. Three of them fall within jurisdiction of the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC).
The first round of CM level dialogue took place on August 21 last year in which both sides ended setting-up three Regional Level Committees to solve imbroglio.
Disputed areas are Khanduli and Psiar, Block 1 and Block 2, Borduar, Langpih, Nongwah, Mawtamur and Desh Doomreah.
