BJP holds extended executive meeting to discuss Panchayat polls

AGARTALA, July 13, 2024: Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha addressed the Extended State Executive Meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and urged unity, and discipline ahead of the upcoming Panchayat elections. The meeting was attended by top office bearers of state committee and all Morchas of the party.
Chief Minister highlighted importance of ensuring victory for all BJP candidates and urged party Karyakartas to effectively communicate development works undertaken by both the State and Central governments for the welfare of the people.
Dr Saha advised party members to focus on connecting with the public and ensuring that the BJP's philosophy resonates with the people. He issued a stern warning against any form of violence, unrest or unruly behaviour during the election period and felt need of the importance of maintaining discipline and order to ensure a consistent victory.
The meeting was attended by BJP state president Rajib Bhattacharjee, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Coordinator of NE Sambit Patra, former Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb and former Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Debbarman.
