NATIONAL, November 21, 2024: Binningstar Lyngkhoi, a former international marathoner from Meghalaya, is encouraging Indian youth to take part in the Viksit Bharat Challenge at the National Youth Festival 2025. This event, which will include a two-day dialogue with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, will be held at the Bharat Mandapam in the national capital.
The Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue will feature an all-India digital quiz competition from November 25 to December 5. The winners will then go through three rounds: an essay and blog writing competition, a State-level 'Viksit Bharat Vision' presentation and a National Championship featuring the State-level winners at the Bharat Mandapam.
The festival aims to identify and nurture young talent, providing them with a platform to share their ideas for Viksit Bharat and enhance youth engagement in politics and civic life. The central government has set a target of bringing at least 1 crore youth aged 15-29 from all over India to participate in the Viksit Bharat Challenge.
The event will convene a vibrant assembly of selected youth from three distinct verticals: the newly announced Viksit Bharat Challenge participants, talented youth emerging from district and state-level youth festivals and notable path breakers and youth icons from various domains.
