Big boost: 29 INPT functionaries join TIPRA

AGARTALA, March 01: 29 middle and small rung leaders of the Indigenous Nationalist Party of Tripura (INPT) joined TIPRA to owe allegiance to the ideology of the Greater Tipraland. Important leaders who have joined the political outfit floated by state’s royal scion Maharaja Pradyot Kishore Debbarman are Khudiram Reang, the vice-president of the INPT’s youth organisation, and Bimal Reang, Dhirendra Reang and Sabita Reang.

Though Pradyot welcomed new entrants, he ushered hope to forge an alliance with the INPT to contest elections of the TTAADC.

He informed that next rally of the TIPRA will be held at Bisramganj on March 5. He said that IPFT which struck a coordination agreement with his party will be invited to join the programme.
