Assam police seize Rs 7 crore worth suspected Heroin

REGIONAL, November 03, 2024: Assam police Sunday seized a truck in Lailapur in Cachar district with 30 soap boxes of suspected heroin and 20,000 Yaba tablets worth ₹7 crore in another drug raid. Three persons have been arrested in case connection.

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma praised the police for their work.

Earlier in similar raid, Assam police found 45 heroin-containing soap boxes valued at ₹4 crore near Guwahati on October 14 last.
