Army Boys Sports Company to select exceptional talents

REGIONAL, January 06, 2024: The Army Boys Sports Company at MEG & Centre Bangalore is organising an induction rally from January 20 to 23 to select exceptional young boys in the sports of Boxing, Hockey, Sailing and Swimming. The rally will take place at Kendriya Vidyalaya MEG & Centre Sports Ground in Bangalore from 6 am to 5 pm.

Boys between the ages of 8 years and 14 years (born between January 20, 2011 and January 20, 2017) are eligible to participate and must provide sports certificates in any of the aforementioned sports disciplines. Boys between the ages of 14 years and 16 years (born between January 20, 2009 and January 19, 2011) must have won medals in National or International competitions recognised by the National Federations of Boxing, Hockey, Sailing or Swimming within the past two years as of the date of the induction rally.

The minimum educational qualification for boys between the ages of 8-14 years is completion of Class III, while for boys between the ages of 14-16 years it is completion of Class VIII or IX.
