Theme "Infallible, Impervious and Precise" reflects IAF's resilience

REGIONAL, November 09, 2025: The Eastern Air Command of the Indian Air Force Sunday held its inaugural full-scale air show in Guwahati to celebrate its 93rd anniversary featuring over 75 aircraft and helicopters in 25 formations above the Brahmaputra River. This year's theme, "Infallible, Impervious and Precise" reflects the IAF's commitment to operational capability and resilience.
The event was attended by notable figures including Assam Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh.
The air show captivated spectators along the riverbanks, showcasing aircraft such as Rafale, Sukhoi and Apache, which operated from seven regional air bases including Guwahati and Tezpur.
In a cultural tribute, the event also honoured the well-loved Assamese singer Zubeen Garg, featuring his song “Mayabini Ratir Bukut.”
