NATIONAL, May 21, 2025: The Tripura government is focusing on transparency and dynamicity in the public distribution system by recruiting various vacancies. The Food Department has taken the initiative to recruit 12 sub-inspectors, 6 storekeepers, 3 Fumigation Assistants and 35 store guards to accelerate its services.
Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha Wednesday made the observations at a programme meant to distribute the job offers to food inspectors selected through TPSC. He said the government is providing jobs with transparency by following set guidelines and proper procedures.
The offer distribution for food inspectors was held at Pragya Bhavan. Dr Manik Saha said that the government is giving jobs based on merit and skill following a transparent and proper procedure.
A total of 19,262 youths were given job in various departments by the incumbent state government. The government has also taken initiatives to increase the income of farmers, purchasing paddy at the Minimum Support Price, the chief minister mentioned in his speech.
