PM interacted with people to mark Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra

AGARTALA, December 09 2023: Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha stated Saturday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's guarantee signifies progress for the country and public welfare. He also urged citizens to work towards making India a developed country by 2047.
Dr Saha made these remarks while participating in the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra organized by the Government of India and Proti Ghore Sushasan 2.0 by the Government of Tripura at Suryamaninagar Gram Panchayat in Dukli RD Block. He highlighted that this programme has been taking place in various parts of the state since November 15, providing common people with access to various flagship schemes.
"PM Modi's guarantee means progress for the country and public welfare. As part of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has interacted with the people. In Tripura, such programmes were held in four locations”, he said.
Chief Minister went on to say that “Today we had the opportunity to listen to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Before his speech, we distributed POSHAN cards to beneficiaries and provided financial assistance to SHG groups. All line departments have set up stalls here, and people can take advantage of all the flagship schemes of PM Modi. This is crucial," said Dr Saha.
He also mentioned that the guarantee vehicles reached from Delhi and is traveling across the state. "Around 16 vehicles are touring the state to raise awareness about PM Modi's flagship schemes. This initiative was launched by PM Modi to achieve 100% saturation.”
“The main goal is to make India a developed country by 2047, and this is only possible when we ensure that every citizen has access to these schemes. PM Modi is tirelessly working towards the socio-economic development of the people. This is a transparent government led by PM Modi, and our state is also progressing in the same direction. We believe in actions, not just words," Dr Saha added.
During the programme Deputy Speaker of Tripura Legislative Assembly and MLA of Suryamaninagar Assembly Constituency Ram Prasad Paul and other officials present.
