Coffee table book ‘Engaging Communities; Empowering Lives' launched

COFFEE TABLE BOOK 'Engaging Communities; Empowering Lives' was launched by Commissioner & Secretary, Health & Family welfare, V Kezo at Kohima, published by the Project Director, Nagaland Health project (NHP) Directorate of Health & Family welfare.
Speaking at the Launching program V Kezo congratulated all the officials and added that this days Nagas have become so health conscious because of the awareness, improving health services and increase in its utilisation of target location across the state. Kezo said the project purpose is to improve the quality of Health care system which was implemented in Nagaland through numerous local initiatives and innovation cross sectorial coordination and intervention with other stakeholders.
The community's capacity on Governance, planning and institutional development were enhanced along with the mainstreaming of gender and inclusion was re-constituted through the project, he said. This Coffee table book is a combination of the best Practices and innovation from different parts Nagaland, he added.
Welcome address was delivered by Project Director (NHP) Dr Imkongtemsu Longchar, A brief description on reflecting on the project journey by Deputy CMO, Mon Dr Thomas Keppen, A brief description on conception to creation, unveiling the Coffee Table Book experience by Senior Health Specialist Health, Nutrition & Population World Bank group Marion Jane Cros and short speech on the implementation of the project by Senior Health specialist Health nutrition & population world bank group, Bathula Amith Nagaraj. Vote of thanks was delivered by Senior Account officer, DHFW Imtidongzuk.
