"Promote traditional attires during upcoming Kut Festival"

AIZAWL, February 21, 2024: The Mizoram government has requested all state government employees, as well as various Public Sector Undertakings, Boards, Institutes and Agencies under the State Government, to actively participate in promoting traditional attires by wearing them during upcoming Chapchar Kut Festive period.
The festival, named as 'Chapchar Kut, 2024', will be celebrated throughout the state on March 1 next. This festival is a celebration of Mizo cultural values and traditions, and as such, all employees requested to wear Mizo Traditional Dresses to their offices from February 26 to 29.
Besides, all Administrative Heads and Heads of Departments requested to bring the matter to the attention of all officials and employees in their respective departments.
