Kanchanjungha Express crushes old man

AGARTALA, December 02 2020: Police on Wednesday reported another death under wheels of a train after tragic death of a youth in Sabroom station. A 64-year-old man was crushed to death in Panisagar subdivision of north Tripura district.

Agartala bound Kanchanjungha Express dashed the man at a place called Belthoi. He died instantly.

The deceased has been identified as Rabindra Nath.

Accidental train deaths and suicides are occurring in the state at a regular interval.

Kanchanjungha Express runs between Agartala and Kolkata.
