REGIONAL, September 27, 2025: Assam Rifles organised a medical camp for Bru migrants at Hamsapara in Damcherra (North Tripura) Saturday as part of its continued commitment to community welfare and healthcare outreach.
The camp aimed to provide essential medical care and raise health awareness among the local population. 481 patients including children, women and elderly people were provided with free health check-ups, consultations and medicines.
Special focus was laid on maternal and child healthcare, immunization awareness and preventive measures against seasonal diseases.
This initiative reflects Assam Rifles’ unwavering dedication to serve the underprivileged, enhancing access to healthcare and supporting vulnerable communities in remote areas.
