Ambitious: Tripura tourism to get boost in two years

AGARTALA, November 05, 2024: Tripura Tourism Development Corporation Limited (TTDCL) is collaborating with the central government, ADB and World Bank to explore the state's tourism potential and expand the sector. The corporation has set a two-year period for implementing the projects.
The Board of Directors chaired by Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury discussed the ambitious plans during a meeting Tuesday. The board includes senior tourism officials and heads of various departments.
Chowdhury has made efforts to boost the tourism sector, most importantly assigning former Indian cricket skipper Sourav Ganguly as the Tripura tourism ambassador.
