AGARTALA, April 13, 2024: Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha announced Saturday that his government is considering reopening all political murder cases that occurred during the long rule of the CPIM. He plans to seek suggestions from legal experts after the conclusion of the Lok Sabha election.
Speaking at an election campaign in Agartala, Dr Saha asserted that the BJP is a party of Karyakartas (Workers) and that everyone is striving to seek blessings from the people for Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He stated that the upcoming Lok Sabha election is crucial for fulfilling the dream of PM Modi's Vikshit Bharat in 2047 and urged people to strengthen PM Modi's hand for the sake of future generations.
Dr Saha also expressed confidence in the BJP's victory and highlighted PM Modi's commitment to development and working for the people. He criticised the CPIM and Congress for forming the INDI Alliance for their own survival, stating that the alliance would soon collapse due to their lack of understanding.
The Chief Minister also condemned the violence that took place during the CPIM and Congress regimes and accused them of killing those who were against them. Dr Saha promised to reopen all closed political murder cases in Tripura after the election and seek suggestions from legal experts.
He also accused the CPIM of creating rifts among the working-class people and destroying the industry. He urged people to reject those who have confused the public and to be aware of their actions.
Dr Saha pointed out that the victory of the BJP candidates is crucial for the continued development of the state.
