Location of tri-nation exercise closely watched by various governments

GLOBAL, September 17, 2025: The U.S. Air Force, Bangladesh Air Force and Sri Lanka Air Force have launched Pacific Angel 25-3, a four-day field training exercise in Chittagong in southeast Bangladesh aimed at strengthening disaster response, humanitarian assistance and regional partnerships.
The location of the tri-nation exercise has been closely watched by various governments.
The exercise series, which has been held in the Indo-Pacific for over a decade, brings together U.S. service members, partner nation militaries and local government organisations to enhance readiness, exchange knowledge and improve collaboration during humanitarian crises, defence experts said.
The exercise highlights the importance of preparation and interoperability, underscoring the shared goal of a more stable, secure and resilient Indo-Pacific.
