Tripura Champion in U-17 soccer event, CM lauds

AGARTALA, February 03, 2020: Tripura team has become Champion in Under – 17 National Football Tournament that was played at Agartala. It defeated Sikkim in the final match held Monday. 

Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb congratulated Tripura team members for their excellent performance.

He took to twitter to express his utter joy at the achievement. He wrote: ‘Kudos to Tripura Under – 17 Football team for winning final game against Sikkim on National Tournament. Youths of Tripura are prospering in Sports at National & International level. I wish good luck to U-17 football team for future endeavours’.

He tagged the tweet with union sports and youth affairs minister Kiren Rijiju.
