Police arrests fraudster impersonated as TTE

AGARTALA, September 10, 2019: Police have on Tuesday arrested a man who impersonated as Travelling Ticket Examiner (TTE) in a passenger train in Tripura. The fraudster identified as Deepak Debbarma was detained after he collected hefty amount from ticketless passengers travelling in the train plying between Agartala and Belonia in south Tripura.

Government Railway Police (GRP) has handed him over to Belonia police station from where he was forwarded to court.

Police said the detainee hailed from Melaghar in Sepahijala district.
