Neiphiu Rio links success to development

KOHIMA, January 15, 2020: The 72nd general session of United Sangtam Students Conference was held at Seyochung Village under Kiphire District Wednesday. Chief Minister Nagaland Neiphiu Rio graced the occasion as the guest of honour and hosted the 72nd USSC flag.
Delivering his speech, Neiphiu Rio said peace, prosperity & joy are the key to success for development in society and urged the students to have unity and brotherhood among them. He encouraged the Sangtam students’ community to work hard and prepare themselves to face the world.
Stating that a child without education is like a bird without wings, Rio appealed to the youngsters to thrive and work hard for education.
The Chief Minister acknowledged and expressed gratitude to the pioneers who has started the sangtam students union and has brought thus far. Rio said sacrificial and dedicatory life always brings unity in the society. He urged the students to obey God and fear God so that the people of the State will receive more blessings he asked the young people to play a vital role in the society for they are the leaders of tomorrow. He also asked them to become agent of change.
Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio encouraged the young students to be very serious in sports and to take up sports as careers. He also stressed on the importance of taking up private entrepreneur. Chief Minister was a companied by Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton, CM Chang, Minister for Forest Environment & Climate Change. Kashiho Sangtam, Minister for Soil & Water Conservation Geology & Mining and other senior officers.
