MGNREGA workers get pending wage in Tripura

AGARTALA, October 5, 2019: Tripura government has made payment of pending wage to workers listed under the MGNREGA. State’s Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Debbarman informed the wage has been credited to bank accounts of the workers.

“It (payment) has been made. Beneficiaries can anytime withdraw money from their bank account”, Debbarman told newsmen.

He said central government sent Rs 75 crore to make payment to the workers.

The payment gave a great relief to the workers in the festive season.
