Tripura council of ministers expanded with one induction
MLA Kishore Barman was sworn in as the 12th member of the cabinet

AGARTALA, July 03, 2025: MLA Kishore Barman was sworn in as the 12th member of the incumbent Tripura cabinet headed by Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha. Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu administered the oath office and secrecy to him at the Raj Bhavan in the Capital Complex area of Agartala on Thursday afternoon.
The oath taking ceremony was attended by Chief Minister, other cabinet members, MLAs, political leaders and high-ranking officials from various state government departments. The oath-taking took place at the Darbar Hall of the Raj Bhavan, where the Barman took his oath in Bengali.
After the ceremony, Kishore Barman expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP All India President JP Nadda and other successful members of the state cabinet, including the Chief Minister, for entrusting him with such a significant responsibility. He also stated his commitment to fulfilling his duties with the utmost importance.
Tripura has a sealing of 12 ministers as it has 60 MLAs.
