Event will highlight NE India's rich artistic heritage and traditions

THE WORLD AUDIO VISUAL & ENTERTAINMENT SUMMIT (WAVES) 2025 is a global event that celebrates innovation and collaboration in the media and entertainment industry. The WAVES Culturals & Concerts, a four-day cultural extravaganza, will take place from May 1 to 4, 2025, at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai.

The event will highlight Northeast India's rich artistic heritage and traditions. The cultural programme, titled "Connecting Creators, Connecting Countries," features performances from all eight northeastern states, offering a unique journey through India's diverse cultural mosaic.

The event will feature performances from Assam, Meghalaya, Sikkim, Tripura, Nagaland, Tetseo Sisters, Mizoram and Arunachal Pradesh. Tetseo Sisters from Nagaland to perform on opening day

The event is presented in collaboration with the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, the Ministry of Culture, Maharashtra, and partners like YouTube, Spotify and BookMyShow.
