Election office media and communication officers trained
51 MNOs and SMNOs taught to disseminate timely factual information

NATIONAL, September 12, 2025: The Election Commission of India (ECI) conducted a one-day workshop for Media and Communication officers of Chief Electoral Officers (CEOs) from all 36 states and union territories.
The event held at the Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi Friday attended by 51 MNOs and SMNOs aimed to strengthen the communication ecosystem of CEO offices and disseminate timely factual information.
The workshop focused on the Special Intensive Revision of Electoral Rolls from the perspective of media and social media, and an expert session on various tools, techniques, and strategies to counter misinformation. The workshop marked the third such interaction.
