AGARTALA, September 21 2020: The North East Zone Cultural Centre based in Dimapur invites application for Young Talent Artistes Award for the year 2019 - 2020 from outstanding candidates, talented and skilled in the categories of Folk and Tribal Music, Song and Dance, Theatre, Dance Drama, Mime, Painting, Wood, Cane & Bamboo Crafts, Traditional Handloom & Handicrafts and Pottery.
Unmarried Young artistes and artisans in the age group of 18 to 30 years (as on March 31 2020) are eligible to apply for the award. The award consists of Rs. 10,000, Citation and Memento. Candidates should be an Indian citizen and Indigenous to the eight North Eastern States i.e. Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura.
Candidates who have received any such Awards (State or National) earlier in the same field are not eligible for the Scheme.
Deserving artistes/artisans may collect the Application Form from the Office of the Directorate of Art & Culture/ Cultural Affairs, Government of Arunachal Pradesh/ Assam/ Manipur/ Meghalaya/ Mizoram/ Nagaland / Sikkim, Tripura and Shilpgram, Panjabari, Guwahati.

Last date to receive the application is on 31stOctober, 2020 and no application received thereafter date will be entertained.
