Vehicle with dried cannabis seized in Boxnagar

AGARTALA, January 22 2021: Based on secret information Police of Boxnagar Kalamchaura Police Station recovered 32 kg of dried cannabis along with a Tata Safari Maruti car from the road adjacent to Veluachar Dayalpara brick kiln at around 5 am Friday.

However the driver of the vehicle managed to escape from the spot.

Police Officer Rathindra Debabma intercepted the vehicle and made seizure, said Kalamchaura Police Station OC Vishnu Pada Bhowmik. The market value of the seized cannabis is estimated at Rs 1 lakh 60 thousand.
