Government leaders of northeast India extend Eid greetings

AGARTALA, May 13 2021: Governors and Chief Ministers of the states in India’s northeast have extended greetings on occasion of the Eid-ul-Fitr. They however appealed to people to follow Covid-19 protocols and guidelines to stay safe from menace of the coronavirus.
Nagaland Governor RN Ravi in his greetings message urged everyone to take precautionary measures by observing Covid-19 protocols throughout the celebrations.
“On this occasion, I wish you all with good health, stay safe and happy celebrations”, he said.
Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb in his Eid greetings echoed the same.
Governors and Chief Ministers of other states of the region also conveyed best wishes and greetings on occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
