Election Commission convenes two-day conference with CEOs

First conference since Gyanesh Kumar took over as the CEC

NATIONAL, February 24, 2025: The Election Commission of India has scheduled a two-day conference with Chief Electoral Officers of all States and Union Territories (UTs) on March 4-5 at the India International Institute of Democracy & Election Management in New Delhi. This is the first conference since Gyanesh Kumar took over as the Chief Election Commissioner.

The conference will focus on key areas of modern election management including IT Architecture, Effective Communication, enhancing social media outreach and the role of different functionaries in electoral processes.

The CEOs of States and UTs will present their respective action plans on thematic discussions from the previous day.
