Prior to the election, all officials received appropriate training on 'Standard Operating Procedures' through regular video conferencing meetings organized by the Election Commission ensuring clarity on the electoral process and preparation against potential issues on polling day.
Following the conclusion of voting on the 28, polling teams will return to designated centers to deposit ballot boxes and materials. Designated centers for vote counting have been established and preparation for training counting supervisors and assistants is underway.
The Election Commission encourages all eligible voters to actively participate in this electoral event that they describe as a celebration of democracy as detailed in a press release from the Joint Commissioner’s office.
