TrueFoundry launches TrueForge, an open-source
NATIONAL: TrueFoundry, an enterprise AI infrastructure company, Thursday launched TrueForge, an open-source agent harness that enables enterprises to build, deploy, debug and govern production AI agents without vendor lock-in. TrueForge offers an alternative to Claude Managed Agents allowing enterprises to build on any model or MCP server while reducing total agent operating costs by 50%.
Founded in 2021 by IIT Kharagpur alumni Anuraag Gutgutia, Abhishek Choudhary and Nikunj Bajaj, TrueFoundry is an enterprise AI infrastructure company backed by Peak XV’s Surge, Intel Capital, Eniac Ventures and Jump Capital, with teams based across India, San Francisco and Paris.
TrueForge allows enterprises to build on any model or MCP server without vendor lock-in, while providing enterprise-grade governance through TrueFoundry's AI Gateway and MCP Gateway. The platform supports OpenAI, Anthropic and 20+ additional models, along with 40+ built-in tools, sandboxed execution, human-approval workflows, large-context handling and generative UI.
Enterprises including Automatiq and NetApp are already running agentic workloads on TrueForge.
