Tripura Power Minister torus to unify alliance partners
AGARTALA: Power Minister Ratan Lal Nath highlighted the objective of the NDA alliance in the upcoming Village Committee (VC) elections under the TTAADC stating that candidates opposed to the NDA, including those from Congress and CPIM, should not receive any votes or seats.
During a meeting with partners BJP, Tipra Motha, and IPFT at Manu, north Tripura, Tuesday, the Minister outlined the significance of these VC elections slated for September 28. He stressed the importance of joint strategies among the parties despite previous separate contests in TTAADC elections.
The Minister expressed a shared commitment to address shortcomings in candidate seat allocations and reaffirmed their stance against any parties perceived as enemies of both the state and its development. He criticised ideological divides like capitalism and communism focusing on grassroots development.
The meeting included BJP Vice-President Tapas Bhattacharya, IPFT Minister Shuklacharan Noatia and local Tipra Motha leaders attended.
