Triprua Governor visits the Eklavya Model School in Khumulwng
AGARTALA: Tripura Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu visited the Eklavya Model School in Khumulwng, conducting inspections of classrooms, the library and hostel facilities. During his visit, he engaged with students while listening to the 135th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Mann Ki Baat' discussing the essence and significance of the speech with them.
Senior Government officials including West Tripura District Magistrate Dr Vishal Kumar, West Tripura Superintendent of Police Namit Pathak and others accompanied him.
Following this, the Governor proceeded to the Roshni Mahila Cluster Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited in Mohanpur, where he interacted with members from various Self-Help Groups (SHGs). The President of the Roshni Cluster Level Federation provided an in-depth overview of the cluster's operations.
In a symbolic gesture, the Governor planted a sapling on the premises and inspected a bamboo processing unit operated by the Dipabali Self-Help Group commending the initiative for generating employment through local raw materials. The Governor's visit culminated with a stop at the residence of Shobha Debbarma in Keparam Para located within the Purba Noagaon Gram Panchayat of the Old Agartala Block.
He inquired about her duck farm, recalling that he had earleir provided her with ducklings during an earlier event at Lok Bhavan in Agartala.
