The Village Committee elections under the TTAADC
AGARTALA: Tripura state election commission held a review meeting at the conference hall of the Dhalai District Magistrate's office at Ambassa in preparation for the forthcoming elections for Village Committees (VCs) under the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) scheduled for September 28.
The meeting, presided over by State Election Commissioner Dr PK Chakraborty was attended by a range of officials, including GS Rao (Acting Director General of State Police), Vivek HB (District Magistrate of Dhalai), Partha Das (Additional District Magistrate) and Rishikesh Desai (District Superintendent of Police) along with other police officials and district returning officers.
The discussions during the meeting primarily focused on the administrative preparations and the procedural aspects necessary for the successful conduct of the upcoming elections. Emphasis was placed on ensuring that all levels of administration were adequately prepared to handle the election processes effectively.
