NATIONAL: Team Bharat has received an invitation from the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas for a follow-up meeting scheduled within the next 3-4 days. This meeting aims to further discuss crucial matters involving consumer choice, fuel pricing and the implementation of the Ethanol 20 (E20) fuel policy.
The invitation is a result of thorough discussions held during Team Bharat's recent engagement with senior ministry officials and reflects a commitment to fostering constructive dialogue between policymakers and citizens.
In expressing gratitude towards Minister Hardeep Singh Puri for his willingness to engage, Team Bharat acknowledges the minister's attentiveness to the concerns of everyday citizens. His decision to invite them for another round of discussions signifies a proactive and solution-focused approach to addressing consumer issues nationwide.
During the upcoming meeting, Team Bharat plans to present feedback from vehicle owners and consumers, reiterating essential recommendations on consumer choice, affordability, transparency and the effective implementation of the E20 policy. They felt that meaningful public policy is enhanced through ongoing dialogue, evidence-based discussions and active citizen engagement.
Team Bharat appreciates the Ministry’s willingness to maintain open communication and the assurance that citizen concerns will continue to be prioritised and examined.
While this invitation is seen as a positive development, Team Bharat regards it as part of an ongoing dialogue rather than a final resolution. Their commitment remains centered on constructive collaboration with the Government, ensuring that consumer interests are at the forefront of discussions.
They hope these ongoing engagements will yield practical, balanced, and citizen-centric solutions, supporting India's long-term energy objectives while safeguarding the rights of millions of vehicle owners. Team Bharat is dedicated to responsibly voicing the concerns of ordinary citizens with sincerity and a spirit of cooperation.
