Rubber Tappers’ Insurance to be renewed before July 15
KOTTAYAM: Rubber tappers who have enrolled in the ‘Group Life Insurance Cum Terminal Benefit Scheme’ of the Rubber Board during 2011-12 should renew their policies by remitting the premium at the respective Regional Offices of the Board on or before July 15 2026 in order to ensure continued insurance coverage.
Under this scheme, each member will get an insurance coverage of rupees one lakh in case of natural death and up to rupees five lakh in case of accidental death.
Renewal Forms have already been sent directly to the policy holders from the Labour Welfare Division functioning in Rubber Board Head Office. Those who have not received the renewal form may contact the nearest Regional Office.
