
REGIONAL: The North East Zone Cultural Centre (NEZCC), under the Union Ministry of Culture, is inviting applications from distinguished scholars interested in conducting research-oriented documentation work for the 2025-2026 period. This initiative focuses on the documentation of Folk & Tribal Music, Dances and Vanishing Art Forms specific to the North Eastern states of India that include Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura.
Eligible applicants must be Indian citizens and indigenous residents of the respective states. A panel of experts from NEZCC will oversee the selection process for project proposals. Interested individuals can obtain application forms and further details from the Office of the Directorate of Art & Culture or Cultural Affairs in the respective states, Shilpgram Panjabari in Guwahati, or the NEZCC Head Office in Dimapur.

The deadline for submission of applications is August 31, 2626; late submissions will not be considered. The Director of NEZCC reserves the right to accept or reject any application at their discretion without the obligation to provide reasons for such decisions.
