Month-long Seva Sankalp Abhiyan to commemorate PM's birthday
AGARTALA: Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha announced the implementation of various programmes in celebration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday occurring from September 17 to October 17. "Seva Sankalp Abhiyan", aims to focus the Prime Minister's people-oriented projects through a month-long series of social activitiest was approved at the meeting of the BJP's state committee in Agartala Wednesday.
Dr Saha stressed that the celebration of Modi's birthday is distinct focusing on service rather than traditional festivities. Approximately 25 programmes have been planned, including tree plantation initiatives, cleanliness drives, and drawing competitions for children all designed to engage the community and highlight the Prime Minister's initiatives.
The Chief Minister reiterated the government's commitment to ensure that the benefits of various welfare schemes reach the populace, connecting them through active participation. He underscored the importance of including the community to successfully execute the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan.
This engagement aims to continue the momentum from previous phases of good governance efforts aimed at enhancing citizen access to government services.
BJP state president Abhishek Debroy and other senior party members participated in the meeting as they signaled strong leadership support for this public service initiative. The upcoming month promises to be a blend of community service and awareness on governance aimed at furthering the Prime Minister's vision for the nation.
