Leading production company Niri9 to organise film workshop

UNDER the initiative of Assam's leading film production company, Niri9, a film workshop is scheduled from July 5 to 18 aimed at enriching skills in various aspects of filmmaking. This comprehensive workshop will involve training sessions led by experienced professionals from the film and cultural sectors covering topics such as acting, singing, dancing, videography, editing and scriptwriting.

The workshop is structured to cater to participants at both basic and advanced levels. Individuals who officially register by June 20 will benefit from a 10 percent fee waiver as stated by Dr Junmoni Devi Khaund, the Director and Founder of Niri9. 

The event will take place at the banquet hall of Niri's Park View Restaurant in Nehru Park, Panbazar, Guwahati. Notably, a film featuring the workshop participants is also planned to be produced.

Participants will have the opportunity to engage and learn from several notable figures including Sima Biswas, Jatin Bora, Atul Pachani, Lou Majaw from Shillong, Himanshu Prasad Das, Anurupa Deka Raja, Achint Raj Kashyap, Zubilee Baruah and Raj Changma from Shillong.
