
REGIONAL: The Joint Hnampual Meet 2026 organised by the Joint Hnampual Students' Organisation (JHSO) at LPS Arena Falkland, Aizawl, Saturday, featured Chief Minister Lalduhoma as the Chief Guest. He commended the formation of the Joint Students' Organisation as a symbol of unity among Mizoram's ethnic groups. Highlighting the theme "We are Zofas; we cannot be divided," he called for practical application in daily life.
The Chief Minister reiterated the government's commitment to minority communities, promoting peace and stability following the surrender of the last ethnic insurgent group. He stressed the need for a shared language to enhance unity while preserving distinct cultural identities.
He encouraged youth to value their history and literature, advocating for greater accessibility and understanding between communities.
Guest of Honour Lalmuanpuia Punte supported the initiative's role in creating ethnic harmony stressing the youth's responsibility in maintaining community cohesion.
