Eastern Panorama invited to the Frankfurt Book Fair 2026
SHILLONG: Eastern Panorama Offset (EPO), a prominent printing and publishing house based in Northeast India, is set to showcase an impressive collection of 24 titles at the Frankfurt Book Fair 2026, which will be held from October 7–11 at Messe Frankfurt, Germany. EPO's stand will be located at Hall 4.2, Stand F35.
This event marks a significant opportunity for the literature and scholarship emerging from India's Northeast, featuring diverse topics that encompass indigenous heritage, regional history, education and business strategy.
EPO is emerging from Meghalaya, a relatively small state, with the belief that world-class ideas and literature can originate from any corner of the globe even from a less prominent geographic location. The curated catalogue prominently includes 17 titles authored by the well-known brain-training and mind-mapping expert Dilip Mukerjea.
It also features seven works that delve into the culture and history of Meghalaya and its wider context. Notable titles within this collection are "Ka Siang Ka Pha" and "U Kiang Nangbah" by Dr HH Mohrmen, "The House Speaks: Echoes of Leadership," compiled by MS Sangma for the 11th Meghalaya Legislative Assembly and works by Dawmanchuh Lamar that document Jaintia/Pnar traditions and festivals.
Other significant contributions include "Unlocking 3PL" by Chirayu Garg, as well as "Mesmerizing Meghalaya" authored by Dr KK Jhunjhunwala.
Central to the catalogue is a selection of books intended to catalyze a learning transformation, guiding readers from the age of five through their developmental years into adulthood. EPO aims to position these titles as crucial reading material for children, working adults, business leaders, entrepreneurs, educators and trainers.
At the Frankfurt Book Fair, EPO will also seek to negotiate print and translation rights with international publishers, with the overarching goal of disseminating these works — along with their rich ideas and traditions — to a global audience.
